For 10 weeks in the summer of 2017, I was lucky enough to work in the Starbucks Global Creative Studio as a graphic design intern. During that time, I rotated between the Starbucks Card team, the In Store Promotions team, and the Brand team. I also had the opportunity to illustrate and design a Starbucks Reserve Card.

During my time at the University of Washington, I was lucky to be able to work with the Visual Services team within the School of Art + Art History + Design. With them, I built a website through SmugMug to share images of student work, managed those images across a few years, photographed events, and built an html email template from scratch.
April 2015 – June 2018
In Spring 2015, I took on the role of Layout Designer for Grey Matters, an undergraduate neuroscience journal at the University of Washington, and later was promoted to Design Director. I was the first designer on staff, and I completely rebuilt the system for the layout of our journal. After that, I guided the general design direction of both the journal and the club, oversaw several junior designers, worked on the identities of the annual Evening With Neuroscience conference, and took on some illustration responsibilities.
